Hyundai Changes the Sonata's Design with Updated Performance Features

The Sonata has been on the market for many years now with excellent success. As time goes on, there is a need for change to occur in order to keep up with the competition. Hyundai provided this update in the form of some great performance features. The SE, SEL, Sport, and Limited trim levels all come with a 2.4-liter engine with a six-speed programmed transmission that provides 185-horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. There is a Sonata Eco trim level that comes equipped with a 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine. This engine provides 178 horsepower and 195-pound feet of torque thanks to a seven-speed EcoShift double grip transmission.

Thirty-two miles per gallon is the combined fuel efficiency rating for the Hyundai Sonata. The number may vary a tiny bit depending on the trim level. Hyundai has long been known for their excellent efficiency.
