South Korean auto manufacturer Hyundai is burying some serious roots in America. The Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (which opened in 2005 and employs 170 people) recently announced that it will further expand the company's influence in Superior Township, Michigan by building an innovative Hot/Cold Weather Dynamometer Test facility there.

Congratulations to our friends at Hyundai on designing and producing the North American "Car of the Year!" That's right, readers. The 2012 Hyundai Elantra was named "Car of the Year" at this year's Detroit Auto Show. The new Elantra has earned a ton of awards since its debut, but this is quite possibly its most impressive yet!
